Build a page for this

An example calculation, not a promise of earnings. The payment processor fee, your own tax and your own costs still come out of it — and if you sell nothing, you pay nothing.

A photographer goes through the shoot with a customer in the studio.

How it goes

How you get your own booking page running.

Every step is what actually happens in Studio.

  1. 1

Tell us what you do and when you work.

You pick a starting point and mark your working days. Durations, price and terms arrive ready for you to check.

  2. 2

You see your own page right away — before paying anything.

You change the photos, texts, prices and services. The page looks exactly as it will to your customer.

  3. 3

You publish and share the link.

Instagram, Facebook, your Google business profile or a business card. The customer picks a free time and pays you online.

Build your booking page

What you get

Booking and your own site in one service.

Every line is a feature that exists from day one. Nothing is promised as "coming".

For the customer

  • Free times that really are freeTimes are calculated from your working hours and what is already booked. A customer cannot book a time the service does not fit into.
  • Add-ons in the same slotCupping after a massage, brows with a cut. An add-on increases both the price and the booked time, and the free times are recalculated.
  • Payment onlineCard, Klarna, Apple Pay or Google Pay. The booking is paid before it is in your calendar.
  • Confirmation by emailThe customer gets the time and the address right after paying.

For you

  • Working hours to the dayYou mark your working days and times. A day without hours is closed — that is how you take a day off.
  • A gap between customersCleaning, turnaround or a breather. It is reserved automatically and never shown as a free time.
  • Every appointment in one listNeeds you, upcoming and past. An unpaid hold and a time starting soon come first.
  • Cancel and refund in one placeYou cancel the time and choose the refund; the money returns to the customer on the same payment path.

Page and visibility

  • Your own address right awayyourname.purnukka.com works from the first minute. You can connect your own domain now or later.
  • Finnish and EnglishBoth languages ready. A translation proposal comes with it and you check it.
  • Four looks and five coloursYou choose the look from a picture, not from code. The change shows in the preview immediately.
  • Photos and your storyYour own photos, your own introduction and customer feedback. An empty section is not shown.

The booking calendar, staff and add-ons live in the same admin as the page content — not two systems and not two logins.

Money

The money comes to your own account.

The customer pays into your own Stripe account. Purnukka takes its share only once a booking is paid — not as a monthly fee and not up front.

  • Card, Klarna, Apple Pay and Google Pay pay into your own Stripe account, which pays out to your bank account.
  • Purnukka's share is 4.99% of a paid booking. No bookings, no costs.
  • You decide in Stripe when the money moves to your bank account.

A private individual can open a free Stripe account without a business ID.

What does opening a payment account require?

Stripe asks for an ID document and a bank account number before the first payout. We help you open it. Without a payment account you can still publish the page and agree the payment with the customer in person.

Stripe What Stripe is

Stripe is a card reader that works online.

In a shop the card goes through a reader and the money ends up in the shop’s account. Online that job belongs to Stripe: it charges the customer’s card and moves the money to your bank account. Stripe is a payment company used by millions of businesses. You do not buy it separately, and the account is opened once while you build the page.

  • The customer pays by card, Klarna or a mobile wallet on your own page.
  • The payment goes to your own Stripe account, opened in your name.
  • Our service fee is 4.99% of a paid booking.
  • Stripe charges its own per-payment fee on top of that.
  • Stripe pays the money out to your bank account at the rhythm you choose.

We help with opening it. If you do not want online payment at all, you can publish the page and agree the payment with the customer directly.

Terms and cancellations

A cancellation is not an awkward conversation.

Every starting point brings its own cancellation term: 24 hours for a massage therapist, a week for a photographer, 72 hours for a fixed-departure trip. They are the same texts Studio writes onto your page — you can edit them, but you do not have to invent them.

Massage Duration1 h Gap15 min CancellationYou can cancel or move an appointment free of charge up to 24 hours before. Later cancellations are charged, because the slot stays empty.
Hair salon and barber Duration45 min Gap10 min CancellationCancel or move free of charge up to 24 hours before. A no-show is charged in full.
Wellness and coaching Duration1 h Gap15 min CancellationA private session can be cancelled free of charge 12 hours before. A group class can be cancelled 2 hours before, which releases the place to the waiting list.
Photography Duration1 h 30 min Gap30 min CancellationCancel free of charge 7 days before. After that half the price is charged, and on the day of the shoot the full amount.

The terms bind from that moment

The customer accepts the booking and cancellation terms before paying, and they are stored with the booking exactly as they were at that moment. A later edit does not affect a booking already made.

A no-show

You write into the terms what a no-show costs. When the time is paid in advance, an empty hour is not also lost income.

You decide who gets in

You can take bookings only at times you choose, close days and limit a service to a particular person. Cancelling and the size of any refund are always your decision.

The starting points get you going. You check and adapt them to your own work.

Growth

Starts with one service. Goes as far as you want.

Nobody founds a company on the first evening. So this starts without a business ID, without a monthly fee and without commitment — and still scales into a real booking system.

  1. First one service

You publish what you already do. The first booking tells you whether there is demand.

  2. Then more services and people

The same page holds several services, add-ons and staff. Each person has their own calendar and their own hours.

  3. And finally your own name

Your own domain, your own look and a growing customer list. When it grows into a business, the page and the customers are already yours — nothing needs moving.

Income from services is taxable, and the limits of business activity are worth checking with the Tax Administration. Purnukka handles the page, the bookings and the money. Taxation is yours.

Frequently asked

Do I need a business ID?

Not to start. A private individual can build the page, publish it and take payments. The first payout requires identity and bank account verification in Stripe. Income from services is taxable and you get a yearly summary for your return.

Does Purnukka bring me customers?

It does not. You share the link: Instagram, Facebook, your Google business profile, WhatsApp or a business card. Purnukka is the address behind which the booking and the payment happen.

Can a customer book a time I cannot make?

They cannot. Free times are calculated from your working hours, what is already booked and the gap you set. If the service and the chosen add-ons do not fit, the time is not shown at all.

What if the customer does not turn up?

The time is paid in advance, so an empty hour is not also lost income. You write into the cancellation terms until when cancelling is free and what a no-show costs. The refund is your decision.

There are two of us. Does that work?

It does. Each person has their own calendar and their own hours, and each service says who performs it. The customer can choose the person or leave it open, in which case they see every free time.

My service happens at the customer. Does that work?

It does. You write the address you start from or state your area, and the times are calculated the same way. Remember to count travel as the gap between customers.

Can I stop?

Any time. No fixed term and no notice period. The page content and customer data are yours, and you take them with you.

Is it a bank?

No. Stripe is a payment processor: it handles the card payment for the short stretch between the customer tapping pay and the money reaching your bank. Your bank stays the bank you already have.

Whose account is it?

Yours. It is opened in your name and against your bank account, and the customer’s payment goes there — not through a Purnukka account. the only thing we charge is 4.99% of a paid booking.

What does Stripe cost?

Stripe charges no setup fee and no monthly fee — only a fee per payment. In Finland a standard card issued in the EEA costs 1.5% + €0.25; a premium EEA card 2.8% + €0.25, a UK card 2.5% + €0.25 and a card from elsewhere 3.15% + €0.25, plus 2% if the currency has to be converted. That is Stripe’s price, separate from ours.

Do I have to learn a second program?

Not for daily work. Your page, prices and bookings live in Purnukka. You go into Stripe twice in practice: when you open the account, and if you want to check when the money lands in your bank.

When is the money in my bank account?

In Finland the first payout arrives 7 days after your first successful payment. After that the default is 3 business days, and you choose the rhythm: rolling, weekly or monthly. The money never sits with us at any point.

Opening it goes like this

Email and password: The account is created while you build the page. It takes a couple of minutes. Identity and bank account: A photo of your ID card or passport and an account number. This can wait — the page can be published before it. The first payment: When a customer pays you see the amount straight away, and the payout leaves for your bank at the rhythm you chose.

Your calendar already exists. Let us put it online.

You see your own page before paying anything. If it does not look like you, nothing is lost but an afternoon.
